I'm sorry I haven't written in awhile. I moved to Portland, OR and you know how life gets busy. I just want to say, I hope you don't take it personally. You are still my one true love, you always will be. There's still so much more of you for me to explore and document. I'm not done with you yet, Los Angeles. Just you wait.

A Frank Lloyd Wright home (The Hollyhock House), the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre, and a sculpture garden all rest on top of this hill at the edge of Hollywood. Its affairs are run by the city's Cultural Affairs Department with the idea the park should be used to celebrate art, and indeed it does. For more info check: http://www.barnsdallartpark.com/

Okay okay, so it doesn't look that much like the White House, but when I was a kid I was convinced Bill Clinton lived down the block. It's actually an office building. An office building set between a retirement home and a Target. We'd be in big trouble if this is where our president resided.
